AI Research Centre
Advancing Trustworthy Justice AI.
Unilink’s AI Research Centre drives the responsible and ethical development of artificial intelligence applications for the justice sector. Led by Prof. Theo Damoulas, Unilink’s Lead Data Scientist and collaborating with leading academic partners, including Warwick University, the Centre combines academic leadership, applied research, consultancy expertise, and product innovation to ensure that AI within Unilink solutions is transparent, ethical, explainable, and operationally effective.
Building on more than 25 years of justice sector expertise, the Centre translates advanced research into deployable solutions that enhance safety, strengthen decision-making, and support rehabilitation without compromising governance, fairness, or accountability.
All AI systems are developed with embedded safeguards, bias mitigation frameworks, and secure local deployment options to preserve data sovereignty and maintain full transparency.
