Hear from some of our employees about their experience:

I have recently joined Unilink and immediately I felt like part of a family I never knew I missed!  Everyone is so welcoming and willing to support me knowing I’m a new starter facing a challenging role.

I have found the company’s values align with mine, and I know that I will be performing more than a job here; it’s about forging a strong relationship with our clients, and ultimately, supporting the inmates who will benefit from the ‘systems of independence’ we have created.  I feel like I can make a positive impact in my role and develop my delivery skills so that our clients get the best from our services.

It’s been a beautiful whirlwind so far – I can’t wait to see what the ride has in store for me and the company going forward.  I’ll be here for it!

Danny (CMS Training Consultant)

Since joining Unilink, I’ve found a supportive and dynamic workplace that has allowed me to grow both professionally and personally. The diverse client base has been a great opportunity for me to develop my communication skills and understanding of different cultures, which has been both interesting and rewarding.

Working at Unilink is about more than just completing tasks; it’s about being part of a team that strives to make a positive impact on a global scale. The experience of working with international clients has been particularly enriching, allowing me to broaden my perspective and skill set.”

Damian (Training and Documentation Manager)

I joined Unilink in September 2023 and my first impression was how friendly and helpful everyone was.

As a father of three, I appreciate the flexibility of being able to work from home when I need to. That said, working from home all the time isn’t for me, so I like being able to work from the Newcastle office a day or two each week. I also found that going into the office and working alongside people there was a big help in bringing me up to speed.

The communication culture at Unilink is better than other organisations I’ve worked at. First, I’m not drowning in emails anymore, and I’m a big fan of the cameras-on policy during Teams meetings as I believe it helps us communicate much more effectively. I also like the way we’re kept up to date with The Link news bulletin every Friday.

Most of all, I feel freedom here to try things – write code, experiment, find new ways of doing stuff. As a developer, I really welcome this lack of constraint combined with the opportunity to develop my skills.
